Covid-19 Statement

by | Apr 1, 2020

As many have been hearing through the various news outlets, social media platforms, Governor Kemp, and even the President of the United States on the Coranavirus Disease (COVID-19), we as a nation are experiencing an unprecedented pandemic for our generation. Having said that, we want our church body, friends and families to know the following from our leadership team at Vida City Church:

  • We are first calling on the name of the Lord in fervent prayer for His mercies and intervention
  • We are suspending onsite services for the time being as responsible members of our local communities
  • We have moved to online services to ensure virtual community during this period of social distancing – You can find us at
  • We are asking our members to follow and adhere to CDC measures for the prevention and containment of COVID-19
  • We are encouraging our members to NOT panic but to remain alert to federal and state-issued alerts
  • Trust the Lord that although this pandemic will and has caused huge disruption to our normal day-to-day living, God remains seated on the throne and He will see us through this crisis

As this situation remains extremely fluid, we will remain in contact via our social media outlets as well as praying for our church body, our community, our city, state and federal leaders.

We declare the prayer of Psalms 91: He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!”
